Rita is a talented working dog, but "handler soft". She wants to please and be correct, so reassurance during training has gone a long way in building her confidence and skills. It is nice to not have to worry about a dog damaging livestock secondary to being independent and overzealous. She has been able to effectively handle livestock at home and will be trialing in the future. Rita's first litter of pups have been very confident and talented workers.
