Louie and his litter mate sister arrived at Riverbank Farm in need of new homes when they were 15 months old. They both demonstrated working potential and his sister found a new working home with an experienced BC handler's family. Unfortunately Louie was "troubled" from having been over shadowed by his litter mate and it took months for him to develop self confidence and trust in people and dogs. He was never aggressive, just indifferent to many people and paranoid about dogs. He developed self confidence while working the livestock and finally met people that he liked and understood him. He is enjoying his new life in VT, working sheep and goats and accompanying the family on trail rides.
